Where it all began
Growing up i was exposed to the damage drugs can cause to a family at a young age. Unfortunatly loosing my uncle and auntie before their time to substance abuse. This had a knock on effect with the rest of my family and early years. many of my friends and a sibling also fell head first into substance abuse, due to lack of support and a lack of knowledge though adults around them. This really shaped me and my goals and attitudes to trying to acheive change.
Our mission
Prevention is always better than cue, or prevention is the only cue. Here at lift up we aim to teach professionals to equip them with the knowledge they need, to shape change and to not leave any young person behind. we invest in our youth by providing support and by giving you the tools to do the same.
